Quilting

July 3 2013 Quilting Newsletter

Hello quilters, it’s that time of the week again for a quick hello and catch up. I hope that all is well in your neck of the globe and that you’re managing a little time for yourself to craft and create.

I had a number of comments about the wallets I mentioned that I’m making so I thought I might tell you a little more about them and give you some photos. The wallets are being made as a gift to every person who attends the Sunshine Linus Inc. Quilt Show & Open Day in August.

We will include a tea bag and a little message inviting the guest to pour themselves a cuppa and pop on line and see what Sunshine Linus is all about. It’s one way we hope will encourage people to see our website. The more people that are aware of Sunshine Linus and what we do for the community, the more support we will receive.

So here’s some pictures I’ve taken of the wallets http://pinterest.com/judieb56/sewing-for-sunshine-linus/.

Keep your eye out on the articles as I will soon write the pattern for these little sweeties.

Last week I wrote an article in response to a question I received from a reader. It’s all about using old patchwork fabrics – do they have a use by date etc etc. Here’s my reply: http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art180908.asp

I’ve posted a question regarding using old fabrics on the forum. Pop over and have your say:
