Quilting

Hi quilters, it’s a beautiful sunny day here this morning, and I’m sitting in my study with the sun coming through the window, warming up my room and me! What a way to start the day.

I’ve joined the local gym! Yes, those that know me will get a giggle with that news. I’m not the most co-ordinated person in the world, and the thought of me on a treadmill is a little bit scary. In fact I nearly wiped myself out the other day. I was busy walking at a steady pace (don’t want to tire myself eh?) and I had a runny nose.

I keep my hankie in my bra, and pulled my hankie out and dropped it onto the treadmill. Well, as you do, I bent down to pick up the hanky, and of course stopped walking and me and the hankie were spat off the back of the treadmill, at a great rate of knots. I landed on top of the hankie and on my very well padded bottom. No harm done to me physically, but my pride was shattered!! Luckily I was in the gym at a time when there were only a few people, and even luckier they were all gorgeous guys and girls, so they didn’t even notice me!!

I was going though some precious treasures the other day and came across some interesting quotes and poetry that I’ve enjoyed. I’ve shared these with you in the article I wrote last Sunday. Here’s the link to that article: http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art172665.asp

It’s pretty quiet on the forum front. Don’t forget it’s your forum. Feel free to offer suggestions or comments for other quilters to read and share. Here’s the link to the forum site:
