Quilting

September 20 2012 Quilting Newsletter

Wow! Where did that week go? We had our daughter staying with us while she attended a conference, and I don’t know what happens to the time. We love it when she is able to stay with us. It’s a chance to catch up and just enjoy her company, even though she’s in an out at the speed of light.

It’s also a chance for me to cook her favourite meals. We had Baked Chicken and vegies one night, homemade pizza another and of course I made an Apple Charlotte for desert. She loved it so much; I made another one for her to take home with her.

I also was invited to attend a meeting of the Mountain Quilters at Peachester yesterday. I had a great day and lots of laughs and conversation. This group of girls has a number of members that have been busy sewing for Sunshine Linus. Their efforts are greatly appreciated and I had a chance to thank them all. Pop over to my blog for some photos of the day. Here’s the link: http://whenlifehandsyouscraps.blogspot.com.au/

Last Sunday I posted an article about making homemade hand cream, especially for quilters. Here’s the link:
