Valentines's Day is just around the corner. To satisfy the sewer/crafter in you: Make a Valentine garland or Valentine sachets for your sweetie, kids or friends by using heart-shaped templates to cut out and sew together several heart-shapes from red, white, or pink fabric, stuff with a little rose-scented potpourri, add some lace and ribbons, buttons and bows, then string on sturdy ribbon. At the website for SanDiegoZoo.org find instructions for a great fabric heart wreath even kids can help assemble: http://www.sandiegozoo.org/kids/craft_hanger_fabric_wreath.html

Happy Valentine's Day February 14th!
