It is difficult to find time to read as our busy lives seem to keep us constantly on the go with family, home, and work considerations. An English idiom - stop and smell the roses - seems appropriate to apply when life seems to rush on by. The idiom means to take time out and enjoy or appreciate life's simple pleasures, like the small of a new rose in springtime.
