September 29 2020 Astronomy Newsletter

Hi everybody

Here's the latest article from the Astronomy site at

Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2020
The winners of the 12th Greenwich Astronomy Photographer of the Year competition were presented online this year. There were two socially distanced presenters. Winners included close-up Andromeda, an ethereal aurora, colorful clouds, and a sad warning of what could be the end of astrophotography.

The National Maritime Museum website shows all the award winners and short-listed photographs in each category of the competition. For the best effect, be sure to look at them on the biggest screen you have.

New this year is a People's Choice Award. There's selection of entries - some not winners - that you can look through and vote for your favorite.
