Hello Everyone!
A few readers have asked where I live that it's snowing. I live in Anchorage, Alaska. Afraid I haven't gotten any pictures yet of the snow. It's very pretty though and I'll take my camera out with me next time I go out. Right now I'm pretty content to stay warm and see it out of the windows.

Beaded Beads Inspired by Monkey's Fist Knots
A pair of earrings inspired by Monkey's Fist knots.The balls can also be used as beaded beads in other projects.

If it's cold where you're at, one of my family's favorite treats is hot chocolate. One of their other favorite treats is hot vanilla!
In a sauce pan, 2 cups of milk, 2 tsp. of good vanilla extract, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, bring to a simmer, and use a hand blender to whip up a froth on the top of it. Pour into cups and add a sprinkle of cinnamon.
