Children's TV

May 6 2006 Children's TV Newsletter

Greetings Everyone ~

This coming Monday marks the end of 7th Heaven. It is a family show and I felt it is something that children may have viewed over the years with their families. My son is eleven and has seen many episodes. He likes the theme song and the dog Happy.

Series Finale For 7th Heaven
After ten years on the WB, the Camden family is saying goodbye on Monday, May 8, 2006 at 8 pm.

I had the option of being in the audience for a taping last Monday for Deal or No Deal in Hollywood, but with the national boycott being that day and roads closed I decided I better not attend. Check out the sites I have listed on the homepage for attending tv tapings. It is winding down now for the season with tapings resuming in August, but some talk shows continue year round.

My son has been enjoying the Disney channel movies this past week. Every night at 8 pm they had a movie that we have had in the past. I sold many on ebay and it seems years later my son is now interested in these movies. There was Monsters, Inc., Stuart Little, Toy Story, Lilo & Stitch with Finding Nemo last nite. They have these on too late since it ended at 10 pm and my son could not stay awake past 9:35.

Today both my sons have enjoyed watching Stitch the movie. I got a subscription to the Disney Adventures magazine for the 11-year old. The first issue arrived yesterday and we were disappointed to see it was the March 2006 issue. This is what occurs often when you first get a magazine subscription, which annoys me since we had read that issue from the library and bought the April issue. I will be contacting them to make a complaint and write an article on this experience and share what magazines we get and a brief synopsis of each.
