Hello Everyone!

Some time ago, I mentioned some difficulties that I was going through to a friend. She suggested that we fast for spiritual breakthrough and for direction. Having agreed, I told that I would let her know when the time was right. That really is funny...."the right time". There really isn't a "good" time. It's just something you have to commit to and begin, especially if God calls you to do it. As I sat procrastinating, God used another friend to push it to the forefront of my mind. She asked if I had ever heard of Jentezen Franklin's book on fasting. She suggested it would make a good review for the Christian Literature site.

As I read Franklin's book, I realized that fasting had never been taught with any priority in the churches I've attended. I've attended some great teaching churches too. I'm glad that she suggested this book and hope that those of you who choose to read it will obtain some benefit.
