Dear Readers,

With schools due to reopen, I asked some friends, all of whom are Christian and parents, what they thought about the use of magic in children's books.
The answers were polar opposites. Forum posts generally agreed that we all grew up with make-believe and suffered no ill consequences. My forum posters mostly agreed that it is up to the parents to talk to their children in order to explain fantasy verses the sorcery discussed in the Bible.

Also reviewed was a book by a retired Episciple Bishop which takes a very liberal view of Christianity. So liberal as to distort the message contained within the Bible.
