Warm Berry Delight Recipe

The slow cooker is an invaluable tool to save time at the end of a long, busy day. However, it can also be a wonderful and safe tool to teach your kids how to cook. Here is a tasty slow cooker recipe that is perfect for young chefs.

Joyce's Vegetable Soup

The perfect soup for a cold winter day!


2 28 ounce cans of diced tomatoes

2 15 ounce cans of lima beans (do not use frozen)

2 15 ounce cans of creamed corn (must be creamed)

1 small can of tomato sauce

Half of a sweet onion, chopped

4 baking potatoes, peeled and chopped small

Salt and pepper to taste

½ cup to ¾ cup worcestershire sauce (the key ingredient)

Bring all ingredients to small boil in large pot.

Simmer, stirring frequently for 1-2 hours. Freezer friendly!
