The Family Restaurant Game

Going out to eat with a family can often be rather expensive. However, you can bring the restaurant experience to your house with a little creativity.

Reader Tip of the Week:

About to Expire Milk Tip

If you have milk that is about to expire, think of everyday recipes that call for milk that your family enjoys. For example, if you family loves pancakes, simple make a quick batch of pancake batter, cook the pancakes, and store in the fridge. They will re-heat nicely in the oven, and it’ll be a great change of pace the next morning.

Forum News:

We have a new 48 hour Choose the Ingredient Contest that will end tonight, Sunday, March 30th. If you have not seen the ingredients yet, you have to take a look! I’m going to have to put a lot more creativity in this recipe or recipes…it will either be a recipe spectacular or recipe disaster! Come up with your own recipes with the ingredients in the thread, and post it on the forum!

Also, do any of you use coupons on a regular basis? I was inspired to start a coupon thread this week. The woman in front of me at the checkout line saved $75 in coupons alone. Another man saved $28 on a $30 order. I started a thread to get your coupon strategies and advice.
