Blueberries, Blueberries, Blueberries!

If you live in a state that grows blueberries, this is the perfect time to go blueberry picking! It's a great activity with the kids. Just freeze the blueberries you don't use right away. To ensure their freshness, make sure you rinse them carefully and lay them out on papertowels to dry before you seal them in freezer bags.

Also, don't forget to join us in the forum. We're talking about our favorite kid's cookbooks, iced tea recipes, and more.

Recipe for Blueberry Muffins
Blueberry muffins are an especially wonderful treat with breakfast or at snack time. Opt for fresh blueberries if you can, but frozen berries will work just as well.

Visit Cooking for Kids for even more great recipes and fun articles. And please feel free to e-mail me if you have any comments or questions.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Wolf
