Greetings and Salutations -

It's easy to get comfortable with where you are. With all the changes that surround us, sometimes it feels like the only way to get by is to hang on to the way things have been. But from what I hear from editors every day, the best way to thrive and reach joy is to stretch your boundaries, try the unknown, and take that leap.

I know it's scary! We're here to catch you. We're here to help, cheerlead, support, and do whatever you need to help you take that next step. Aim for the stars. You really can make that leap that is before you.

I decided I should "walk the walk". I tend to be quite shy in person. This morning I was reading the local paper and saw there was a photography show which benefited a local disabled group. As soon as Bob woke up I enlisted his help to go to Michael's and choose frames and mats before I backed out. We did, I entered, and now I'm enrolled. You can see my photos here -

Is this scary for me? Absolutely. I am a quite shy person. But it is for an important cause and I felt I wanted to do my part. So I took a deep breath, mapped out my path, and took the steps. I have faith that I will get to the end.

Look at your own life and think about what goals you would love to achieve. Put aside thoughts of them being scary or challenging. Simply imagine the goals you want to achieve. Share your hopes in the forums and then take that first step. We will be your safety net. Together we will help you get there. It's all about one step at a time!
