I'm back from my trip. The servers seem to know when I'm away and take that opportunity to misbehave :). Although this time it wasn't quite the server's fault; it was probably some bored teenager with nothing better to do.
Thank you again to everyone who alerted me to the hacking problem. I was in the middle of the ocean that day but luckily with modern technology I was able to work on things. We didn't lose any data at all, and the hole they snuck in is now closed. It was the chat software we were using. So I'll be buying us new chat software going forward :).
When I changed all the system passwords as a precaution, that then impacted our mail program and it took me a few days to work through that. Mail is now back up and running again.
The forum "local time" had reset itself to universal time, so I changed that today to properly be EST. The forum post sidebar has been catching up over the past few hours and in another hour or so it should be current again, once we "catch up with now".
I think once that happens that everything should be back to normal again.
Thank you all for your patience while I sorted this all out! And definitely let me know if you spot anything that still needs to be tweaked.
