Today is my launch of my first medieval romance novel! I had high hopes to have all versions of the book go live today. Unfortunately, I have this unhelpful habit of revising and revising and revising and never stopping. So I was still revising it late last night. If I hadn't had a deadline of today I'd still be revising it today :) So the Kindle version is now fully live - but the paperback, Apple, and Barnes & Noble versions are in the "gears of the system" and may not be out for another few days yet. I.e. they claim to be live but things chug slowly within their innards. Still, you can download a free Kindle app for your PC, and read it on your PC, even if you don't own a physical Kindle!
I now have both a "regular" black and white Kindle as well as the new Kindle Fire (full color, backlit screen) so I can help you test out your ebooks on both systems, and send you photos of what your content looks like on them!
Here's my novel -
I would love feedback on it, and if anyone has read it already and liked it, I'd love reviews on it!
I can send along the source EPUB file to anyone who wants to see it, so you can see just how this process works.
Here are photos of what the book looks like on my actual Kindle devices -
I highly recommend you guys look into publishing things on Kindle. It's extremely easy to do, the book goes live in hours, and then you collect income eternally. I know you guys have books lurking within you!
I'm happy to help! Just post in the ebooks forum, and I'll help you reach success!
