December 31 2009 Editor Assistance Newsletter

Happy New Year, everyone!

I hope you are having a safe, fun New Year's Eve - ringing out the old and ringing in the new!

If you run your own sites, don't forget to change all the 2009 copyright dates to 2010! It's a minor thing, but people do actually notice it :)

Here are the Oct and Nov winners of our weekly writing contest! These editors have written solidly for the three months before each month - and get a $50 Amazon gift certificate!

Our first October winner is Phyllis Doyle Burns - our Native American editor! Phyllis has been writing this site since December 2007. I am so proud that we are supporting Native Americans in retaining their culture, and one of the charities we support helps Native Americans thrive on reservations without the use of casinos!

Our second winner is Vance Rowe, our crime editor! Vance has been writing with us for June 2008. I adore discussing issues with Vance in the forum! If you haven't come by the crime forum, we've got all sorts of great ethical discussions going on! Highly recommended :)

Our first November winner is Pamela Wilson, our Special Needs Children editor! Pamela has written with us since May 2005. I was lucky enough to meet Pamela and her darling son while at the Seattle gathering this past year! They were both wonderfully fun to spend time with.

Our second winner in November is Ruthe McDonald, our African American Culture editor. Ruthe has been with us since March 2008. I am thrilled that we help our visitors learn more about the African American history and the great achievements made by African Americans everywhere!

If you're a winner, please email me and let me know what personal email address to use for the gift certificate, so I can send that out to you safely!

Have a wonderful evening, and together we can look forward to a wonderful 2010!

Lisa Shea, owner
