Diane Cipollo and the entire Mused team gets enormous kudos for working with my chaotic schedule for this latest issue of Mused. With the art gallery I was running I was juggling even more things than usual and I ran incredibly late with Mused. The team dove in to help out and Diane got this latest issue done in record time, during the holidays. Not only that, but she converted the entire Mused layout to a responsive design, so it works on phones and tablets! It's gorgeous!
This is absolutely stunning :).
As this is the very first run at the new responsive design, please let us know if you spot anything to tweak or fix. We can't test it out on every device ourselves, so the more ways you try to view the pages the better. Let us know if everything works properly.
We are working on the PDF version next. I'll let you know when that is ready. And then will come the print version.
I didn't end up putting the BellaOnline Ebook Awards in this issue because we (I) was already so behind. Those will go in the spring issue. That might make more sense anyway going forward, so that all of 2017 ebook releases can be considered for a spring 2018 issue. Otherwise we end up saying the 2017 awards are only for anything released before mid-November, which is sort of strange.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions or comments about our latest issue of Mused and/or the new layout. If you're currently not on the Mused team, let me know if you'd like to join us! We have a lot of fun looking through the submissions and helping the artists improve.
Have a great New Year's Eve!
