Greetings and Salutations -

Thank you all for your help in troubleshooting as we had the issues of the BellaOnline website and forums "wrangling with each other" over our secure server certificate. We kept getting errors on either one side or the other as one took control.

I've finally gotten them to play nicely with each other :). To both be secure at the same time. I think that is all set. If you see any errors at all from either site, warning about the secure nature of the site, please let me know.

Apparently there's a known problem with Chrome on the Mac platform not seeing bolds properly with our font. I will let the Chrome people know and look into a solution. According to our statistics, less than half of our visitors are using a computer (a non-phone / non-tablet) and of those only 12% are on a Mac. And of those Mac users, only a portion are using Chrome. So hopefully this bold bug is only impacting a few people.

I'll continue to load up headshots for the remaining editors who need to update theirs. I'll also continue to set up graphic accounts for those who would like a place to store graphics for use in their articles.

Next up, I'm going to work on the forums again. The forums are going to go to a right-sidebar-only format, like our main website is, to make it better laid out for mobile devices. Also, I'll put in all our standard customization code which I didn't do during this last install for testing reasons. So that will turn off emailing of forum posts again - that flurry of outgoing email has been causing us complaints from mail systems. It'll also start updating the bottom-of-article forum promotions again and other similar things. My aim is to get through that set of forum updates on Tuesday.
