I just finished doing an upgrade of our mail server. This should give us a speed boost on how quickly mail is processed. Please let me know if you encounter any glitches or odd things with the new mail server!
I have a backlog of email to get to. Now that some of the serious server work is caught up, I'll be working on the email next!
Here are a few quick ideas for you, to help you relax and find serenity!
* Take in a full, deep breath, filling your belly so it goes out like Santa Claus. Breathe from the belly first. Many of us are taught to "chest breathe" but for stress reduction belly breathing helps a great deal. Let it out slowly. Repeat five times.
* Relax your shoulders away from your ears. When people get stressed, they naturally "hunch" into a protective position. This causes neck-aches and back-aches and also signals your body that a stressor is still there. Relax your shoulders down and back. Roll them a few times to help them settle.
* Give yourself a halo! Sit up tall and imagine the crown of your head can create glowing halos for you. Slowly rotate your head around to create a few halos for yourself. Then reverse the circle.
* Look forward. Imagine a healthy orange is floating in the air right in front of your nose. Imagine your nose is pointing at the top of the orange. Now use your nose to trace around the orange, going clockwise. Repeat. Then reverse the circle.
These simple exercises can be done anywhere, and can help you relax!
