I am making steady progress through the editor email, which is great! And the hosting company is building me a shiny new server with fresh hard drives and everything, with the latest Windows and MS-SQL on it, which is also great. So the radio will run more smoothly going forward. It shows that hiccups often bring helpful results.
The new server should be fully online in a day or two, once I get all the software installed and configured and such.
This is a good time to discuss again that editors can send in radio shows (audio files) for me to run! You can do short blurbs, like promotions for your sites, or longer content-style runs that cover your topic area. So for example I could talk about ways to cook chicken low carb for my low carb site. A birding editor might do a talk about cardinals. It's a great way to reach a new audience!
Also, if you're a musician, keep in mind that we can run all non-ASCAP female musicians on the radio, so we'd love to promote your projects. We can't do ASCAP as we don't have a license with them.
One of our editors had asked for our "Writing for the Web" course to have a lesson on bold, italics, and underline. So that is now Lesson #6. You can see the course in your members area. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions about this lesson! We still have four lessons to go with the course. Take a look at what we currently cover, then let me know what else you'd like to learn about. I'm happy to help clarify any topic!
Have a lovely day :).
