Greetings and Salutations!

A great way to get guidance for your life and projects is to build a virtual board of directors. This is an imaginary group of about 8 people who you believe in. They can be real or imaginary, live or dead. The idea is when you have a challenge, you look at your board and imagine them giving you advice. Usually what they recommend is most in tune with your inner priorities.

Here's a sample, so you can see how it works!

Along the same line, creating a chart that shows your priorities, 5 year goals, and 1 year goals visually can be a great morning jump-start to your day. You can scan it, think about what's in your day, and how it serves your goals in life.

Chime in with your thoughts on the two threads! If you haven't done the brainstorming about your priorities and goals yet, it's a perfect time to do that - you start here -

I've tallied up all the votes and it seems like most people would like the Boston gathering on Oct 19-21 to be north of Boston, in the Marblehead region! This is right on the ocean and also tree-ey so there will be foliage. It's also closer and cheaper than getting out to the Cape. There are a variety of transportation options to get there.

It will be lovely, relaxing, and full of knowledge and learning!

Many editors come for "shoulder days" too, so if you want to stay longer there will definitely be editors around to sight-see and relax with.

Let me know if you're thinking about coming, so I can start to gather up hotel ideas!
