Greetings and Salutations -

I've been struggling diligently through this server repair, and I finally just now got my mail working again :). So this is good news! Who knows how much mail I've lost over the past days / weeks while that server had been sick.

I have caught up on most but not all editor email on my home system. Now that my mail is all healthy, I'm going to push to go through all remaining email from editors. I'll then email you guys when I've done that. That way you know at that point, that if I didn't respond, the email was probably gobbled up by the Mail Demon :). We can then start fresh from there.

That means my only big remaining task on the new server is to get MySQL working again. If any editor is good with INNODB tables, I could use some advice. I have an IBDATA1 file which seems fine, it connects fine, but it shows as empty. There's no data in it, even though the file is huge. I must be doing something wrong. Maybe it's a Windows 2008 quirk. I'd love any suggestions from any MySQL gurus out there :).

On the up side, much of what I've been struggling with is adjusting from Windows 2003 to Windows 2008 quirks. This upgrade is one we'll have to do at some point to our main server and to our mail / forum server - so it was good for me to practice on a non-BellaOnline server first :). That way, when we do upgrade our main servers, it goes quickly and smoothly.

I hope you guys are having a smooth, serene week!
