I'm sending out this note to introduce myself, I am Meg Grooms, your new exotic pets editor!

Exotic pets are a special interest of mine. My love of these animals dates back about ten years, when my husband worked as a zookeeper and we opened a small reptile rehab center in Central Florida. We were known as the turtle people, even convincing pet stores to lend us their sick animals.
