Hi there,

As of this week I am your new Holiday and Season Cooking editor. I am replacing Launa Stout who unfortunately, had to move on. Launas picture is still visible on the site, but my face you can see on my other two sites at BellaOnline - American Regional Cuisine and the Home Cooking site.

So, here's my latest article from the Holiday/Seasonal Cooking site at First, I want to wish you and your families a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday that brings lots of hugs and joy.

And, in light of that, I thought a great Condensed Stock recipe for the leftover turkey bones would be appropriate this week. Enjoy.

Condensed Turkey or Chicken Stock Recipe

Whenever you roast a turkey or chicken, never throw out the bones. Follow my directions and you can use these to make your own delicious condensed stock, saving you lots of money at the grocery store. This recipe can be made vegan or vegetarian-friendly by omitting the bones and using veggies.
