Summer is winding down, the older kids are in school, and now I have more time on my hands. What to do! Today was Wesley's first day of 1st grade. He was so proud walking past his old kindergarten class and marching right to the 1st grade room. Aubrey won't be attending the public school preschool program afterall. So she will be homeschooled at least for another 6 months or so.

For this weeks article we will be looking at an eye defect that starts showing signs around the preschool age. I grew up with this eye defect. Mine could have been corrected if my parents could have afforded the surgery. Health care was different back then compared to today. So many children do not have to suffer needlessly.
