January 20 2007 Romance Novels Newsletter

Hello, and welcome back! I hope you're all finding plenty of reading time in the new year. Things at work should settle down in about a month--I'd thought they would have by now, but there are still all sorts of things going on for a little while.

One of those things still going on is that a couple booksignings have come up. If you're in the southeastern part of Pennsylvania, I hope you'll come to see us at the Waldenbooks in Park City Center. Saturday, January 27, 2007 from 1 - 3 p.m, Karen Rose Smith will be signing her latest book, Falling for the Texas Tycoon (Silhouette Special Edition #1807) Falling for the Texas Tycoon (Silhouette Special Edition #1807). Then, on Saturday, February 10, also from 1 - 3 p.m, Megan Hart will be signing her new book, Dirty Dirty. If you'd like any further info on either of these signings, you can drop me an email.

I've also kept busy reading, not just for myself (though I've read a few really good books out of the realm of review books in the last week or so), but for the site. The latest set of reviews is Shadow Dance. And if you haven't stopped by the main site lately, you've missed out on these as well: Sweet and Hot, The School for Heiresses, and Sun Kissed. I'm sure there's something in there for everyone.

We're getting ready to discuss our January Book Club Selection over in the forum. You still have a couple days to finish reading this one and jump in on the talk. We're also deciding over there, via a poll, on our February book. I hope you'll stop over and help us decide, and then stick around to chat with us.

For Nora Roberts fans, this could be a good month coming up: four of her books have been made into movies for Lifetime Television, and will air, one a week, starting this Sunday, January 21, 2007. You can find more info on her website.

We're talking writing goals over in my romance writers forum, so if you're a romance writer looking for a little moral support or just a place to talk shop, pop on over.

I'm looking forward to quite a few of the new February releases headed our way, but we still have to wait another week or two for most of them. However, there is one book coming out this week I'll be picking up on its release day: Jayne Ann Krentz's latest, White Lies White Lies. I have high hopes for this one.

Until next time, happy reading and writing!
