This is the time of year when pneumonia and influenza can sneak up on you. Too many of us wait far too long after the first symptoms and thus condemn ourselves to lengthy recovery times or even long hospital stays. Remember this: Any cold that lasts more than ten days is no longer just a cold. It has become an infection and needs to be treated by your doctor as soon as possible.
