Quote of the Week
“There are only two ways to live your life. One
is as though nothing is a miracle. The other
is as though everything is a miracle."
-- Albert Einstein

Tip of The Week
Today’s tip comes from the American Diabetes Association. They caution that during menopause, the unpredictable swings in estrogen and progesterone can affect blood glucose levels. These two hormones counteract the effects of insulin in the body which can cause swings in the blood glucose level. As the progesterone and estrogen levels fall, women may need to test more often in order to properly adjust their diabetic medication.

Joke of the Week
Several older nuns were on the second floor of their convent
one night when a fire broke out. The nuns took their
habits off and tied them together to make a rope to
get out of the building via the window.

After they were safely on the ground and out of the
building, a news reporter came over to one of the
nuns and said to her, "Weren't you afraid that the
habits could have ripped or broke since they are old?

The nun replied, "No, don't you know old habits
are hard to break?"
