Angelina Rosanova
Angelina's book, "Tatting and Beads", was first published in 1997 as part of the Russian craft books series, "Wonderful Moment." It is an A4 size paper booklet with but 22 pages. But what inspiration there is for tatters who like beaded tatting and beaded jewelry!

Ben Fikkert's "Frivolité"
Ben Fikkert's "Frivolité" ©1984 was his first tatting publication. It is a small paperback with 30 pages. All the basic tatting techniques are presented in tutorials in the first 20 pages of the book.

Kimiko Ozawa's
Kimiko Ozawa's "Tatting 3" is an A4 large size paperback booklet with only 20 pages and they are all in the Japanese language. The front cover has an excellent example of a traditional style tatted rectangular doily.

Node Stitch in Vintage Tatted Yoke
A chain tatted with Victorian sets, in this pattern 4 x first half stitch followed by 4 x second half stitch is called variously node stitch, rick rack stitch and/or zig zag stitch.

Where to start the pattern?
I arrange the pattern or the diagram in what seems to be the most efficient place to start and the direction that is the easiest to work. And go from there. You do not have to start where the directions say.
