The Fourth of July is the perfect time to serve a low carb, healthy meal! You can grill fish, grill broccoli, toss a large salad and make plenty of sangria!
Grilling food is fresh, flavorful and healthy. I always recommend seafood of course, because of the healthy omega oils in them. If you're not a seafood fan, then grilled chicken is great as well. Steak is fine - but trim out the excess fat.

Veggies are VERY important for proper health! Luckily, broccoli, cauliflower and asparagus are all really low carb and are really tasty when grilled. Just toss them first in oil, then grill them in one of those baskets that make sure they don't fall through into the hot area :)
Have I mentioned enough times how much I adore devilled eggs? They are delicious, easy, and eggs are full of nutrients. Also, always have out fresh veggies for chomping on. The more that you can get people to see veggies as a healthy normal part of life, the better!
