As co-owner and manager of a business support service for many years, I had the opportunity to assist our clients with a wide variety of projects. One day I was invited to watch as my neighbor was being tutored on how to use PageMaker. Seeing that I was more interested in it than he, a deal was made giving me his PageMaker software and in return I desktop published his book for him. That was when I fell in love with desktop publishing!
Along with desktop publishing, I also love writing, graphic design, taking photographs and creating all kinds of arts and crafts projects. These activities I believe have worked well with enhancing my desktop publishing skills, because desktop publishing encompasses putting together words and images to create a variety of items that are pleasing to look at and also serve a purpose.
As editor of the Desktop Publishing/Ebooks at BellaOnline, I look forward to sharing the experience I have gained over the past 17 plus years in producing a wide variety of desktop published documents for a very diverse clientele, as well as answering any questions that you might have along the way.
