Renee Shelton is a freelance writer who owns her own pastry and consulting business. She has the pleasure of writing about what she loves to do: cook, fish, garden and sew. Her favorite fishing trip: Trout fishing in the Sierras with her husband where she caught not only the first but also the biggest catch of the trip.

Her most memorable fishing trip: Catching a barracuda for the first time.

Her best time on the water with no hook-ups: When she was able to steer the boat along side a pack of jumping, friendly dolphins for the first time.
