About the BellaOnline Moms Editor

Welcome to the Bellaonline´s Mom Site!

My name is Traci and I want to encourage all readers to take a deep breath and believe in themselves. A Mom is supposed to be an angel who knows all but also a jack-of-all-trades who can multi-task while handling all household chores and everything to do with the children. The career mothers have even more responsibilities and border on the superhero line. It´s easy to doubt the skills of being a mother but that´s another aspect of being one.

I´m here to help. I´m here to share my ideas, my laughs and pains but also to let you know that you´re human if some small part of this giant life plan doesn´t get the attention you think it should. Moms do the job of twenty but get the pay of none. Hopefully along the way they get the respect of some.

I am a Mom of four and I analyze my Mother´s parenting skills almost everyday, comparing and critiquing against modern times and my own ideas. I became a Mom at the young age of 19. I have to admit that I learned the most about being a Mom from my children. I wasn´t the best but I definitely learned what works, what doesn´t, what inspires and what I need to take responsibility for. I became a grandmother the same year that I became a new mother the last time. I survived giving birth, breastfeeding, potty training, daycare, divorce, dating, and working while being a Mom. I also lived through losing a job, having children on medication, and going to college while being a Mom.

I am looking forward to helping out where ever I can. I have 26 years experience of being a Mother and almost 3 years experience being a grandmother. I also have the unique experience of toting around 2 babies while strangers ask if they are twins. I have to explain that one is my child and the other is my grandchild. Once, I was asked how old they were. I simply said one was 18 months and the other was 20 months. The woman made a weird face and asked how the heck that could happen. Either way, I am happy to give kind words of wisdom to anyone who needs it. When it comes to Moms, I don´t think there could ever be too much help.
