About the BellaOnline Philosophy Editor

Andrea was born and raised in the beautiful Virgin Islands and has since then traded a warm sunny, climate for the varying degrees of New England weather. She currently lives, work, and has fun with her wonderful son and fiance in the city of Hartford, CT.

Although Andrea has received her Bachelorīs in Biology, and partial professional education in Medicine, she sidetracked her career in health and left medical school to satisfy her curiosity in philosophy. At an early age Andrea introduced herself to philosophy through the personal study of metaphysics. For her philosophy is more than just a subject within academia, but is really a guide to life and way of being. In keeping with her passion to make her contribution to the world, she completed her professional doctorate in philosophy (metaphysics) with an area of concentration in Holistic Life Coaching.

Currently Andrea serves as the Director of The Path to You, LLC, a coaching practice based in Hartford, CT, and the Professional Matchmaker at ExceptionalMatchmaking.com. As a Personal Life Coach and Matchmaker, Andrea gets to have fun on a daily basis offering her insight and expertise on any and all areas of life that her clients are willing to explore. In addition to the client based work she does, she also finds time to write for BellaOnline.com, and has also initiated the self-empowerment column, "Uncommon Sense for Everyday Living."
