I am new to writing and editing, and I am very excited at the opportunity to write for BellaOnline. I have spent the last six and one-half years working as a paralegal for attorneys practicing in family law. It was quite a stressful job and now that I am getting married and settling down, I have left that job and am pursuing only the things that really make me happy in life. I took writing classes while in college pursuing my Bachelors Degree and I thoroughly enjoyed them and did very well. Because these things, I am able to take up writing for BellaOnline and have a starting point for a possible future career in writing. I am very fortunate to have a supportive husband-to-be!!

I was drawn to the Reptiles and Amphibians website as a result of my having a Sulcata Tortoise (Bruiser) as a pet. I have had Bruiser for going on seven years now. She has proven to be an amazing pet. I can see, however, how a person may purchase a reptile or amphibian as a pet and come to realize he or she has bitten off more than he or she can chew. I hope to help raise awareness to the potential issues that come with owning a reptile or amphibian as a pet. I also hope to provide good general information to the public about reptiles and amphibians they often encounter in their own backyards.

In addition to our pet tortoise, my fiance and I also have a Shetland Sheepdog and a horse. I love to travel overseas. Travel is pretty much what makes my world go round. I have a passion for golfing, scuba diving, and saltwater fishing.
