Christyann Anderson lived and worked as a single woman in Paris, France for over 14 years where she worked as the Senior Editor for a French and American E-Zine on life in Paris. Her work explored a variety of concerns for single women of all ages and backgrounds. She contributed columns titled ‘’Single in the City of Light’’ for The Paris Woman Journal and continues to write a regular Q & A feature on Café de la Soul online. Ms. Anderson is the creator and co-author, of Paris Reflections: Walks Through African American Paris (McDonald & Woodward Publishing, 2002) and is currently completing her first work of fiction.

Christyann has written articles and Op-Ed pieces for London Times Online, Travellady, Paris Woman Journal, and Heart & Soul magazine. The Chicago Sun Times Book Review, Paris Voice Magazine, and Booking Matters Magazine have critically acclaimed her work.

As a self-described ‘’Happily Unmarried’’ woman, Ms. Anderson’s work has taken her to many countries, including – England, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and North Africa – where her research for living single will be compiled in a travel book for solo travelers. Christyann Anderson is originally from Baltimore, Maryland. She now divides her time between Palm Springs, California and Paris, France. Christyann is currently a contributing blogger on The Desert Sun Newspaper.
