It is a means of giving yourself permission to feel those emotions that are so difficult to deal with. Journaling can be very beneficial to the victim. Can people have repressed memories of past childhood abuse? When do the repressed memories begin to surface for the survivor? I attempt to answer these questions in this article. Paper Trails Paper trails are an important means of documenting incidents when dealing with child abuse. Regardless of your situation, you may want to consider creating a paper trail.
