Haze - PS3 The first-person shooter - and especially the "futuristic" first-person shooter - has been done, over and over, with little to no changes in gameplay, since almost the beginning of gaming itself. Lair - Playstation 3 A dragon-based flying game, similar to Drakengard or Panzer Dragoon, "Lair" was touted as the cutting-edge hit for the PS3. Does it measure up? Devil May Cry 4 - PS3 The latest in Capcom's Devil May Cry series, DMC4 introduces some new elements but keeps a lot of the styles and conventions that made Devil May Cry popular in the first place. Timeshift - PS3 The main abilities in the game focus on the suit's time-warping, which can slow down, stop, or reverse time for short periods. Slowing time will increase your reflexes and agility, boosting your fighting ability. Metal Gear Solid Online The online multiplayer accompaniment to Metal Gear Solid 4, Metal Gear Online is packaged with MGS4 and not a separate game. However, the gameplay is different enough to need its own review. Metal Gear Solid 4 The final installment of Hideo Kojima's "Metal Gear" series has a lot to live up to. Besides its innovations in gameplay, Metal Gear Solid 4 has to worry about wrapping up and connecting the stories of 5 different Metal Gear games. Super Dragon Ball Z -PS2 Yet another fighting game representing the Dragon Ball Z series, Super Dragon Ball Z does little to distinguish itself from its fellow DBZ games. 007 Nightfire - PS2 A James Bond first person shooter, "Nightfire" is one of the lower-quality 007 games. Full of little problems and annoyances, 007 Nightfire is a lackluster effort to continue the Bond franchise. Champions Return to Arms - PS2 A hack-and-slash game set in the universe of the online game Everquest, "Return to Arms" does for Everquest what "Dark Alliance" did for the Baldur's Gate series. Return to Arms is the sequel to "Champions of Norrath", which was similarly aimed at a hack-and-slash crowd.
