He may be a lot grayer than he once was, and he may look a little shorter, but Donovan can still rock his gentle brand of folk-pop as well as he ever did. After canceling his tour last year, Donovan has new 2008 dates scheduled as well as a new DVD.

Concert DVD

Donovan’s live performance in Los Angeles in January of 2007 is now available on DVD. Donovan: Live in L.A. at the Kodak Theatre was released in January of 2008 in the U.S. The footage comprises the first DVD of Donovan’s music. Also present was Beach Boy Mike Love.

2008 Concerts

May 5- The Flower Power Peace Festival, held in Seoul Korea, features Donovan, the Alan Parsons Project and Don McClean, among others.

May 26- The Acoustic Festival of Britain 2008 will be held in Catton Hall Park on the border of Derbyshire and Staffordshire. Along with Donovan will be several other classic rockers of note, including Jethro Tull and The Animals.

May 30- Concert in Milan, Italy

June 6th- Music Festival in Denmark

June 29th- The Fest for Beatle Fans. This Las Vegas festival will feature Donovan as well as Spencer Davis and former Beatle wife Pattie Boyd.
