Crosby, Stills & Nash has released an album that is a behind-the-scenes look at the band's early days. The demo album is a collection of 12 demos recorded between 1968 and 1971, all of which have been previously unreleased. , David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York City on June 18.

Some of the demos include members of the group performing solo while others include the three members of the group harmonizing together. All three appear on the "Marrakesh Express" demo that begins the demo collection. Most of the demos are early versions of solo songs by various group members. Included are two Stills solo demos- "Love the One You're With" and "Singing Call."

Most of the tracks included on the album were recorded at the same recording studio used by Creedence Clearwater Revival and Jefferson Airplane- Wally Heider Studios. Crosby, Stills & Nash Demos was released in early June, 2009.
