The Secrets of Love Magick Book Review
Dreaming of love and want to manifest it in your waking life? Maybe itís time to intensify the energy of attraction with the help of some magic. My friend and fellow Bellaonline editor has just released his second title, this one dealing with how to unleash the true power of love.
I was excited to read and review this book, already being familiar with his first book. But as I continued to read, it became clear that this book could be dangerous in the wrong hands. All too many "muggles" and "straights" want instant magic "spells" for their shallow desires. If youíre one of them, proceed with patience and caution.
When I got this book, I expected some love potions and such but I was both impressed and humbled by the depth and complexity of the information. This is serious stuff. From the first paragraph, he warns about misuse and misunderstanding that can lead to unwanted results including attracting a stalker to "twinning" where you mentally and uncontrollably link to another person.
Edwards is a highly evolved and practicing wizard, and he provides the secrets to energizing potent spells and how to apply them. If you are uninitiated or new to magick, you'll be given a brief introduction to energy and working with divinity. A few unexpected and useful chapters are the Scent of Love, Glamourie and the Dark Sides of Love, filled with great info. Those who demand potions (he includes those for aphrodisiacs and even scented jewelry) will not be disappointed.
If you think this is all hocus-pocus, youíd be wrong. We all work magic in our lives. We all have love symbols, signs and talismans whether or not we care to admit it. If you have a cross, a picture of Jesus, a pic of your loved one in your cell phone or wallet, you have a love symbol. A lock of babyís hair? Same thing. I have a medium-sized rose quartz in my bedroom that attracts the energy of love. Candles, incense, flowers. I use these to keep my marriage sweet and solid.
According to Edwards, the information in his book can help with other love (non-romantic) relationships, too. While one canít influence anotherís free will, sending out positive vibrations of loving thoughts can soften the negativity surrounding the connection between two people. Itís made a difference in my relationships as I focus on acceptance, tolerance, forgiveness, understanding and love. I always present gifts only after blessing them with a prayer. Imbuing your gifts or tokens of appreciation with your loving intentions with an incantation or prayer turns your gift into a magickal offering.
Love really is the highest power of all. Edwards can teach you how to use it within your magical practice in order to achieve your love goals and make your dreams come true.
