Imagine being a young mother raising your children alone. Everyday, you fill the roles of both mother and father, enforcing the rules, breaking up the fights. Then you fix the stopped up toilet and figure out why the fuses blow. Now imagine that added to that is the constant worry of your husband being in danger in a war torn country. This is the life that many of the wives of our servicemen live everyday.

Christian Military Wives.com is a website dedicated to giving encouragement and support to spouses of men in the military.

Founder, Patti K met her husband while he was in the Marine Corps. When they decided to get married and have a family, he got out of the service. They now have three children. Three years ago God put it on his heart to go back into the military. He joined the Army and Patti became a military wife.

Life went for Patti as it has for thousands of military wives across our nation. In 2006 her best friend’s husband was killed in Iraq. A few days later Patti’s husband’s Lieutenant was killed. Since then, 23 more friends have been killed in Iraq. Patti credits knowing Jesus Christ as the only way that she was able to hold it together during those times and with another year of her husband’s deployment to go, Patti looked for a support group of Christian women who understood the difficulties facing military wives. There was none to be found. Knowing that there were many other women in need of the same support and fellowship, Patti decided to do something about it. Her brainchild, ChristianMilitaryWives.com, came into being to bless military wives. The site offers emotional support, encouraging true stories, prayer warriors and a safe place to hang out and talk to other military wives.

There is a Message Board to connect with other wives, pray for each other, share stories or recipes and to stay in touch with friends.

A chat room offers real time conversations.
The Monday Madness chat is for women dealing with the madness that goes with their husband being away for long periods of time.

Fab Friday chat is for the night when everyone you know is out on the town. It offers fun and companionship and you don’t even need a babysitter.

As ChristianMilitaryWives.com has continued to grow, Patti has recruited other editors for help with different aspects of military life.
Financial help comes from Jessica as she shares money saving advice. Becca is committed to helping new military wives make a happy and Christ centered transition. Chelle is the advocate for Service Members and their families on health issues. Military brat, TJ writes about growing up military.

This site is easy to navigate and seems like a friendly place that is easy to feel at home in. If you are a military wife, Patti has created the community for you. If you know a military wife, be sure to share this web address with her. ChristianMilitaryWives.com
