I’m always grateful to hear from stepparents who are navigating the ups and downs of blending a family. As a woman and wife who is also a mother and a stepmother, I know it is often not easy. And while each family is unique, there are certain dynamics that are common in most stepparenting situations.
Knowing that others are going through similar situations is both educational and comforting. Sharing your ideas and experiences can really help someone else; and learning new strategies to improve your own experience is always beneficial.
