Chloasma - The Mask of Pregnancy

Chloasma - The Mask of Pregnancy
The mask of pregnancy, or chloasma, shows up as brown patches on your skin - usually on your face and neck. It is caused by the pregnancy hormones and usually only shows up on women who have taken contraceptive pills.

These dark patches are aggravated by sunlight and some cosmetics, so test your foundation or cover up before using it. The patches will lighten immediately after delivery and should be totally gone within three months.
