Plane Crashes - Dream Symbol
One of the most common dreams is the airplane crash dream. To dream of an airplane crash may not foretell an actual impending disaster but it typically reflects the dreamer’s fears about his waking life progress.
The airplane, as a mode of transportation, symbolizes a dreamer’s journey. To see an airplane crash indicates that the dreamer’s conscious mind fears failure in his waking life direction. It could be fears of a calamitous end for a professional or personal project or his general life future.
It is important to note that the dream is not predicting failure or the future. It merely indicates that the dreamer is feeling stressed, fearful, overwhelmed and hopeless in his waking life.
Plane nearly crashes. The dreamer can avert possible tragedy.
Plane crashes into an ocean, lake or other body of water. The failure or unpleasant results will emotionally overwhelm the dreamer.
Two or more planes crash into each other. Dreamer’s path, goal or ambition will clash with another’s.
Plane crashes due to friendly fire. Dreamer will be undermined by those who are on his side, unintentionally.
To clarify which aspect of the dreamer’s life is symbolized by the airplane, please read Bellaonline Dreams site article, “Dream Symbol Airplane.”
About prophetic dreams
It is possible for some people to experience a prophetic dream of an airplane disaster. How can you tell if your dream is prophetic or fear-based? Please read “Prophetic Dreams” for a few helpful guidelines. To dream about a future event, especially an ill-fated one, can torment a dreamer when he or she does not know what to do about this special knowledge. It’s helpful to know that despite someone’s pre-knowledge, it may not be possible or even preferable (from a cosmic perspective) to avert a coming event.
Should you avoid flying?
People often ask if they should heed their dreams about a plane crash and avoid going on a trip. Is it their intuition or a psychological phobia? Phobias are irrational fears about something. People develop phobias from traumatic experiences in this or previous life incarnations. In some cases, people can harbor phobias or fears due to a subconscious knowing of an imminent tragic destiny.
Unfortunately, we cannot prevent all disasters especially if there is a higher purpose for them to occur. That includes a death which merely is the returning to the spiritual dimension from whence we came.
Nonetheless, I always encourage everyone to follow her intuition, that nagging “hunch” about something, and follow those coincidental occurrences. This can serve you well for, despite a certain amount of pre-determination or destiny, much of our future depends upon the choices you make.
