Being lost or losing someone important to us in a dream can be very disturbing. This type of dream usually indicates fear or concern about the relationship in waking life.

Why is the individual lost? Were you too distracted to pay attention to them? Did they choose to go off without you and promise to be right back? Did a third party pull you apart and cause the separation?

These may be concerns in waking life. If it was you that was distracted, then your own inattention to your relationship is causing the problem. If the person you're with wandered off and got lost, maybe they're not paying enough attention to you and you're worried you will lose them.

If it was another person or event that separated you, you may be worried about outside forces attempting to come between you.

Reflect upon your relationship and what you can do to actively improve it. A solid relationship can survive anything - but a relationship that is crumbling already often needs only a slight push to destroy it.
