Updo by JoseŽ Eber

Beautiful hairstyles do not need to be elaborate. They don't even have to be professionaly done. If you can create a ponytail and use a curling iron, you can have a gorgeous style in a few simple steps.

This updo is designed by JoseŽ Eber. It is elegant because it is simple and sleek. There are no frilly curls. It is kept close to the head creating a sophisticated feeling.

Simply pull your long hair up into a ponytail. Divide the ponytail into five or six sections. Spray each section with Hot Sets and curl it with a large curling iron. While curling the sections, weave a strand of pearls or other hair ornament through the curls. You may have to secure the pearls with a bobby pin in two or three places. Arrange each curl into a soft wave and secure it with a hidden bobby pin. When all of the sections are curled and arranged in an attractive manner and the ornamentation is in place, spray curls with firm hold hair spray.

The bangs are created by carving out the bang area before pulling the rest of the hair into the ponytail. Use a large curling iron or very large round brush to create the large wave. Use a small amount of hair cream, scrunched in to control the hair. Arrange it to the side and spray it lightly with hair spray.

Add the finishing touch to this sleek updo by spritzing it with spray shine.
