These little Barbecued Meatballs are just what you are looking for when you want a more substantial appetizer for yourself or your guests.
1 pound/454 g lean ground beef
2 tbsp/30 mL Onion Flakes
2 tbsp/30 mL dry bread crumbs
1/4 tsp/1.2 mL Garlic Salt
1/4 tsp/1.2 mL Ground Beef Seasoning
1/2 cup/125 mL ketchup
1/4 cup/60 mL water
2 tbsp/30 mL Honey Barbecue Sauce Concentrate
1 tbsp/15 mL brown sugar
1. Combine first six ingredients; mix well. Shape into 1-inch/25-mm meatballs.
2. Place in skillet and cook until browned on all sides; drain grease if necessary.
3. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meatballs. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.
4. Serve hot.
