Guest Author - Vanette (Vannie) Ryanes

This Hot Spiced Lemon Appleade recipe is from the SunKist people. This is a delicious drink. When you don't want another cup of coffee try this. You can double this recipe and keep it in the fridge, then pour a cup and pop it in the microwave.

2 cups water

1/3 cup sugar

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

2 cups apple juice

1/3 cup fresh squeezed SunkistŪ lemon juice (3-4 Sunkist lemons)

________________

Directions

In saucepan, combine water, sugar and spices. Bring to boil; simmer 10 minutes. Add juices; heat.

Makes approx. 5 cups
